Kumari (Bake and Brew)
Review
Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood near Bagusrangin, this cafe is definition of a hidden oasis in Bandung. The establishment boasts an incredibly aesthetic design featuring earthy, modern architecture that incorporates a stunning green garden right in the middle of the seating area, creating a deeply relaxing, Zen-like atmosphere. While its pricing sits firmly within the premium Riau standard, the higher cost is fully compensated by the gorgeous physical environment and the exceptional quality of their baked pastries and specialty coffee.
Kumari features a spacious layout with air-conditioned indoor rooms and airy semi-outdoor spaces, making it a highly cozy place for social gatherings or casual meetings. While the peaceful environment technically supports remote work, it is highly recommended to visit Kumari primarily for social hanging out rather than deep-work; this is because their customer WiFi connection is limited to a few hours to ensure table turnover, although you can get new credentials if you re-order. Visitors should not miss trying their freshly baked almond croissants and signature Cold White coffee while basking in the serene garden setting.
